Glasgow Photographer Blog March 2016
A very busy month for Glasgow Photographer Blog March 2016 both in the Studio and out on the travels to Callander where I had the pleasure of meeting the owners and photographing Abbotsford Lodge. If you are looking for a really nice place to stay in excellent surroundings then give them a visit. Book directly with the hotel for the best deals and offers available. Bike friendly too for all your motorbike riders and cyclists.
Off to visit BoConcept Glasgow, with the Glasgow Photographer Blog March where I had the pleasure of photographing the building exterior and then the staff members. Group pictures with single individual profile shots. What a great bunch of staff! All are designers who are they to ensure you get the best out furniture and fittings. Great news as well for their customers is that any problems down the line, they will get it sorted for you no matter the passage of time. Now how good is that for shopping assurance? Great design, great staff. Did you know the offer a free interior design service? More good news folks. Their website is here:https://www.boconcept.com/en-gb/ Glasgow Photographer Blog March 2016 Post 2
Also in March 2016 was the Tenth Anniversary of the Royal Regiment of Scotland and I was commissioned to mark that event with a commemorative picture of the Civilian Staff, Officers and Other Ranks (OR’s) of the 52nd Lowland Battalion (6 Scots) in their HQ at Hotspur Street, Maryhill. Sorry no picture to see as this is still being worked on to confirm I have all the names and ranks correct of those appearing in the images. Hopefully that will not be a problem. 🙂
Now what next was I up to in March to Blog about? Have to say that the entries are probably in random order rather than date/event order but it was at least March 2016. Wedding: the Busby Hotel, funnily enough situated in Busby but it has had a lot of money spent on it and is looking great. £millions spent on it and you can tell. Well worth a visit if you are looking for a venue for your big day. Great wedding with a great couple and their guests so had a fun day. A light hearted image from the day. Images are available on the X3M site for all to see.
Working again with Scotland’s Magician Scott Cuthbertson and his “Boss”, Shadow the rabbit! Now one has to admit to never having photographed a rabbit in the studio never mind the big boss Shadow. It was great fun and much laughter – well have you tried to pose with a real diva before? Got the results we both needed so a great day for all concerned. Did you know Shadow the rabbit has her own Blog? Check it out here.
Glasgow Photographer Blog March would not be complete without a mention of the Braehead Clan Two visits in the Off Ice stakes one for the presentation of shirts by players to their individual sponsors which was held at Club 29 in Glasgow. We then had the Players night held at the Glynhill Hotel in Paisley and I think it safe to say a great night was had by all. Now what do most great men have behind them? Their better halves perhaps? Great team in their own right. As this is being typed it is sad to say the hockey season is over. It’s a long six months without hockey! What on earth will we all do? The Purple Army will wandering around lost and without purpose – well maybe!
Now what can Glasgow Photographer March Blog say about the next young lady to appear on this page? Do not think one has ever met anyone with so many awards to their name. Lets see if I can find the list. Mmmm.

My personal preference for image was a black & white conversion of the image below. In my opinion a very striking image of this very clever and talented young lady.
Well that is enough for the Glasgow Photographer Blog March 2016. Well perhaps just one more from a newer company fast establishing their name in technology and software development. Odro, one click, browser based HD meeting platform that requires no downloads and can be ran on any device with no registration or license requirement. Company required images for a newspaper article to be run in the Times and to update their profile images. Will keep you all updated as this will be an ongoing assignment for the Glasgow Photographer Blog.
Well that is all for the month of March. Quite a lot covered and April has started just as busy. Onwards and upwards. Speak to all next month. Look out for the April 2016 edition.
