Glasgow wedding photographer George Monaghan. Most weddings, except smaller or quieter ceremonies, will be covered by two photographers. Photographer number two will mainly work with the Groom and Best Man up to and including arrival at the wedding venue. Principal photographer will work with the Bride up to an including arrival at the wedding venue. Thereafter both photographers will take an unlimited amount of formal and candid images between them. We are now providing more wedding coverage from 2008 onwards. Weddings can be nerve wracking affairs for photographers as there is no room for error. Everything has to be right on the day, to get you wedding images you can cherish for years to come. After many years at study in colleges or centers of learning, and in photo journalism I have more than enough experience to deliver a high quality wedding package that will meet your individual needs. You pay quite a lot of money for this expertise and quality so do not expect me to be cheap, inexpensive - yes, but not cheap! We do have a budget package available for smaller, midweek or registry ceremonies. Many hours are now spent on the PC that would have been dealt with in the past by the developer and printer to achieve great results from your images. If I am available, and you wish me to cover the event please try to give as much notice as possible. I have already been booked for most of August 2009 for Glasgow and Edinburgh venues. I do have an excellent colleague who can cover if you so wish. Covering most weddings together I can honestly state he is an excellent wedding photographer. Most weddings pictures will be presented in an Italian designed album and this is not included in the price due to the varying amounts these albums cost. I do not make profit from the sale of the albums but do charge a small fee for designing them. Average price per wedding for 2 photographer coverage is only £1255 for 2009. A wedding presentation box (click to view) containing 30 of your favorite images at 6 x 6 printed on lustre paper with black background and white border will be supplied within this priced package with a DVD containing your images that you may print for family, friends or even yourself. DVD 2 - slide show to music of your day. DVD 3 - archive DVD for safe keeping containing all of the images on DVDs 1 & 2. A sample album is available on request and can be viewed here
Complete Package: All of the above plus a Story Book album, 40 Pages at 12 x 12 size for £1595. Pre approval layout sent to you via e-mail prior to printing the final product. Quality digital albums designed and printed at reasonable cost. 2 x photographers to the first dance, full album, unlimited images, 25 boxed prints, DVD slide show, all high quality images on disc supplied to you, £1595 - Its the business.
One thing my foreign visits has taught me is that you need time for people pictures. Quality time is usually rewarded in quality images and this applies to weddings in particular. I am not asking for hours away from your guests but we do need some alone time with your new husband and Bridal party. Having a second photographer on hand also helps as they can work with the rest of your invited guests or party. Give me the time and I will give you the images to last a lifetime - and more.
Digital Packages: Priced at only £995 for two photographers for 2009 with an unlimited amount of images taken. As many as it takes to cover your day. You get the images supplied on DVD only.
This is proving to be a very popular package for those who would prefer to use their own style album and printing preferences. This is still a two photographer assignment.
The digital record of photographs taken at your wedding will be presented to you in a two boxed DVD set.
DVD 1 - full sized high resolution images for printing.
DVD 2 - slide show to music of your day.
Every image is individually checked for quality and manipulated as required.
All weddings will have a pick of the unlimited images hosted on this web site for friends and family to view online. You may also order any prints at this time. Pricing for professional printing - on request. Pricing depends on requested sizes.
You will have unrestricted usage of the images leaving you free to source your own printing and album. Thereafter you may distribute the images to your family and friends by any means that you wish provided they are not for commercial gain.
Coverage is from the bridal party preparations (Bride and Groom) , the ceremony, any location for formal images and then arrivals at the wedding venue up until a mock cutting of the cake for which you will be asked to pose for prior to your reception meal. Unlimited amount of images taken for your day.
Additional coverage can also be provided for the wedding breakfast, speeches and first dance (+£150). This is covered if you book the full package at £1595. Full cover of the evening reception (from £220), this is time dependent.
All images will be post processed and checked for quality. Any minor blemishes will automatically be removed for you and the Bridal pictures are usually airbrushed to remove any imperfections. I will have you look your best on this very important day. Post production work is very time consuming at this high level of digital manipulation and this is where a lot of your costs are involved. I am the image taker, the darkroom wizard, the design master of the finished product. All of this takes time - there are no third parties involved.
